Air safety goals

The primary and ultimate goal of the safety for civil defense plane is the goal which helps to reduce the risk and achieve success for many business and the success of dealing with any threat lies in the knowledge of the danger before it occurs. And avoid the risk of the necessary things to be the focus of all the professional staff of the Air Defense in all the requirements of the tasks that are assigned to them.

• The foundations of air safety:

A- Physical fitness:
It is a primary prerequisite for the military in general and special in the civil defense aircraft, including a characteristic in the body and motion with a strong structure and through their commitment to exercise and compatible  with the diet program.

B- Mental fitness:
the work in the Air civil defense requires clarity of mind, vigilance and cleverness and the speed in making the right decision at the appropriate time, and to be away from all the of the negative impact on mental fitness, whether family or social or economic problems, and the leadership of the plane to help all its employees to achieve this by creating conditions for all the work that ensure the existence of mental fitness as required.

C- Awareness and culture in safety:
The safety of prominent importance which requires a cultural educational program, and uses all the available means and the creation of what is new in aircraft science for the implementation of programs for the prevention of accidents.
 
D- Personal qualities that qualify to work in safety:
The characteristics that must be provided are sincerity, honesty and knowledge, patience, courage, professionalism, discipline, organization, intelligence, accuracy, creativity, analysis, evaluation, and the love of teamwork.

E- special equipment and devices for the safety matters:
Must ensure the availability of the special devices and equipment required for safety in the required amount, and training of the assigned staff by using these devices to implement the programs for the prevention of accidents.

F- The specialists and supervisors on safety:
For the success of the safety program and the implementation of the prevention programs from accidents require a sufficient number of supervisors and specialists in the field of safety.

G-  a plan and effective programs for the prevention of accidents:
A written work plan according to a limited scientific basis and includes prevention programs of accidents.

H- To identify the areas of risk and publicize its plan:
One of the foundations of safety in order to prevent risks before the accidents takes place.

• Safety requirements:
To achieve safety and reach the highest levels, there must be a full awareness of all the safety procedures and instructions used in the specializations of the aircrafts. and improving the ideas and awareness of employees through theoretical training and good supervision and guidance by the direct officials and the follow-up of the technical development and trying to get used to the integrity, discipline and abide by the rules and the regulations of the aircraft, in addition to the maintenance and benefit from the past experiences and to take with the causes that will bring us success if Allah wills in accomplishing the assigned missions concerning safety.

• Who is responsible for air and ground safety:
Air safety in the civil defense aircraft is the responsibility of all the workers in it, but the biggest responsibility is on the great leaders as their key role is to supervise the thought and behavior in the area of safety, so they have to keep on following-up to push their staff to the highest degree of thought and awareness in matters of safety.

• tools required for the achievement of Air and ground safety in the Civil Defense aircraft:
Since each individual of the airline of the civil defense is a safety man, for this it should be used all the available tools to make safety part of the thinking and behavior of the workers and we mention some of these departments for an example:

- training
- practice
- rehabilitation and education
- education and motivation
- command and control
- Seminars, meetings, lectures and the increase of the safety exhibitions.

to accomplish safety there is an environmental and science references must all of the workers in the civil defense aircraft to apply all its content while doing various acts assigned to them, and the most important references and evidences used by the civil defense aircraft is as follows:

- Plans, instructions and continual papers specialized for various aspects of safety.
