The
Director General of Civil Defense, Lieutenant General / Suleiman bin Abdullah Al-Amro
patronized the conclusion of the Civil Defense Institute training program for
the year 1437.
The
Director of Civil Defense Institute, Colonel / Abdullah Al-Shamrani explained
that this ceremony coincides with the graduation of 201 civil defense officers who
just finished Civil Defense Training Course (Basic). This course lasted for 15
weeks and the newly appointed officers received numerous knowledge and training
skills on basic civil defense tasks.
Colonel
Al-Shamrani pointed that Civil Defense Institute has implemented 23 training courses
during the year 1437, which covers civil defense tasks and works including: firefighting,
rescue, safety, disaster management, emergencies, investigation, first aid,
hazardous materials and support tasks. These courses included field visits to
civil defense centers to implement training drills for the trainees.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Lt. Gen.
Al-Amro expressed his thanks to Civil Defense Institute personnel for their work
that contributes to the development of training noting at the same time to the
support and care from the government which has contributed to improve civil
defense capabilities and readiness. Al-Amro urged all graduates to the
dedication at work and to benefit from the experiences of their predecessors
