Civil Defense Showcases Search-and-Rescue Truck for Collapse Incidents at World Defense Show

The General Directorate of Civil Defense is showcasing a search-and-rescue truck for collapse incidents at high-risk sites at the Ministry of Interior pavilion on the sidelines of the World Defense Show 2026, which is being held in Riyadh from February 8 to 12.
Visitors are learning about the truck’s advanced search-and-rescue systems, including devices to detect survivors under rubble and visual and thermal search cameras.
The truck also carries hydraulic tools for cutting, lifting and stabilization, multipurpose rescue stretchers and personal protective equipment. It is equipped with generators and independent power systems, plus gear to lift and clear obstacles.
The truck can also support evacuation, emergency medical response and field operations during disasters and major incidents.
