Civil Defense Intensifies Preventive Inspections at the Prophet's Mosque

The General Directorate of Civil Defense intensified preventive inspections at the Prophet's Mosque, the central area, and shelter facilities. The inspections aim to ensure that all safety and fire protection requirements are in place to safeguard Umrah performers.

Civil Defense said it is continuing the work of its support and reinforcement centers and teams, rapid response units, preventive supervision points, and motorcycle patrols at the Prophet's Mosque. The measures aim to ensure an optimal response time in emergencies.

Civil Defense urged the public to follow safety instructions announced through official media outlets and social media platforms and to call 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions and 998 in other regions of the Kingdom for emergency assistance.​
