The General Directorate of Civil Defense participates in the 3rd edition of Health and Safety Forum, held from May 17 to 19 in Jeddah.
During the forum, Civil Defense showcased its capabilities and its latest technologies used in emergency situations. It also displayed its efforts in supporting search and rescue missions during the Hajj season.
The Health and Safety Forum consisted of a wide range of programs, including more than 15 dialogue sessions, 6 keynote speeches, 3 workshops, and a TEDx event. Additionally, the forum arranged a hackathon innovation challenge with 90 teams’ participation and an exhibition with 30 agencies from government, private, and nonprofit sectors. This forum aimed to showcase initiatives, services, technologies, and best practices related to health and safety in Hajj.
