The General Directorate of Civil Defense warns against leaving flammable materials inside vehicles during the summer, as temperatures rise in various regions of the kingdom. The directorate emphasizes that this practice can lead to fires and pose a significant threat to public safety.

Civil Defense urges drivers to remove power banks, phone batteries, lighters, gas canisters, perfume bottles, and hand sanitizers from vehicles. These items can cause fire hazards when exposed to high temperatures for extended periods of time.

Civil Defense highlights the importance of adhering to preventative safety guidelines. By leaving any flammable materials inside vehicles, drivers can protect lives and property, thereby reducing accidents related to high temperatures during the summer season. It urged the public to adhere to safety instructions shared through official and social media channels, and to call 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, or 998 in the rest of the Kingdom, in case of ​
