The Director General of Civil Defense, Major General Dr. Hamoud Bin Sulaiman Al-Faraj, headed the MOI’s delegation participating in the second meeting of the Saudi-Egyptian joint committee, established under the MoU on cooperation in the fields of civil defense and civil protection. The meeting was held in Cairo, Egypt. 

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed ongoing cooperation between the two brotherly countries and exchanged field and technical expertise in the areas of civil defense and civil protection, as well as emergency response, with the aim of safeguarding lives and protecting property.
