Director General of Civil Defense Major General Dr. Hamoud bin Sulaiman Al-Faraj received today Qatar's Director General of Civil Defense Major General Hamad Othman Al-Duhaimi and his accompanying delegation at the General Directorate of Civil Defense headquarters in Riyadh.

The visit included the first meeting of the joint committee established under the cooperation agreement between the governments of Saudi Arabia and Qatar in the field of civil defense.

The meeting comes as part of the two countries' efforts to strengthen cooperation in civil defense, enhance coordination, and exchange expertise, contributing to improved preparedness and response to incidents and emergencies.
