Director General of Civil Defense Maj. Gen. Dr. Hamoud Al-Faraj launched an awareness program focused on weather phenomena and risk mitigation, accompanied by an exhibition in Riyadh.

The program aims to enhance public understanding of weather phenomena and their potential dangers by educating the public on their effects, prevention methods, and appropriate responses. By providing scientifically and professionally based awareness and guidance, the program empowers individuals to adopt suitable behaviors before, during, and after weather fluctuations.

Maj. Gen. Al-Faraj emphasized that the program will be implemented across all regions of the Kingdom and will use awareness messages on various social media platforms, in coordination with relevant authorities, to enhance public preparedness.​
