There is no doubt that the aircraft for firefighting is the major plane in the civil defense for its valuable work through participating in extinguishing fires in high-rise buildings, the mixed buildings and warehouses fire,in which it is difficult for the firefighting cars to reach it, as well as putting out fires in the indoor locations, in addition to its active participation in extinguishing forest fires in the south Areas and palm plantations spread in many parts of the Kingdom. It also participates in extinguishing fires in the tents of the holy places during the pilgrimage season, and it is also involved in extinguishing any fire if the ground teams asked for its support.

5- Extinguishing fires in the closed areas where it is not accessible for the fire cars.
6- Extinguishing fires of the oil and petroleum gases and their derivatives and flammable metal.
